Easy Crepes

Easy Crepes these are thin unleavened French Style pancakes. In this recipe, we used basic ingredients such as flour, butter, eggs, and milk. You can also add flavors such as vanilla or spice it up with cardamom, cinnamon or add fresh orange or lemon zest, it’s your choice. Enjoy these Easy Crepes any time of the day with sweet or savory fillings.


  • 1 cup flour (125g)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (30g)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (300ml)
  • 1/4 cup (40ml water)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)


To make the crepe batter, in a blender, combine all the ingredients, flour, butter, eggs, milk, water, vanilla, salt, and sugar if using and blend until smooth.

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. add enough of the butter to coat the bottom of the pan and let it melt. Pour 1/4 cup of batter and tilt the pan to coat the bottom evenly with a thin coating of batter. Cook the crepe for few minutes until it begins to curl away from the sides of the pan, flip on the other side and cook one more minute. Slide the crepe onto a plate and repeat until all the batter is used, add butter to the pan as needed.
